KVS Admission Schedule for 2024-25 Released; check details

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has released the admission schedule for classes 1 to 11 for the academic session 2024-25. The application registration for Class 1 admission will be open from 8 am on April 1 until 5 pm on April 15.

Registration for Class 11 admission will commence ten days following the announcement of Class 10 board exam results. For class 1 admission children must be at least six years old as of March 31, 2024, with a cut-off date of April 1, 2018. Offline registration for classes 2 and above will also commence on April 1, and conclude on April 10.

KVS has launched a new admission portal to cater to the admission process across all 1,254 KV schools. Registrations for Balvatika levels 1, 2, and 3 will be conducted offline in schools from April 1. It’s crucial to be aware of the age criteria for each level. Children should be between 3 to 6 years old, as of March 31, 2024. Furthermore, KV admissions adhere to reservation quotas, with 15 per cent of seats reserved for SC, 7.5 per cent for ST, and 27 per cent for OBC categories.

The registration process follows a strict timeline, with the registration window for class 1 opening on April 1 and closing on April 15. The first selected and waitlisted list of registered students will be released on April 19, followed by subsequent lists on April 29 and May 8. In the event of insufficient applications, a second notification for class 1 admission will be issued on May 7, with registration from May 8 to May 15. Registration for class 2 and above will be accepted offline from April 1 to April 10, with the admission process ongoing until June 29, except for class 11.
