CUET UG 2024 pattern change; check new courses and other details

Application for the Common University Test for Undergraduate Courses (CUET UG) 2024 is underway. Eligible candidates will be able to register for the national-level entrance test till March 26, 2024. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a document clearing various queries regarding the CUET UG 2024 exam.
Two more courses were added to the main subject list: The NTA recently added two more courses to the CUET UG curriculum, bringing the total number of subjects to 29. Students can choose only six subjects out of 63, including 33 languages, 29 domain-specific tests, and one general test. The testing agency advises students to choose at least one language. The two new subjects are fashion studies and Tourism.
The duration of the exams is also changed the undergraduate exam will last 45 minutes. Accountancy, economics, physics, computer science, information practices, chemistry, mathematics/applied mathematics, and general tests will all have a 60-minute duration. The exams will be held in hybrid mode to encourage more participation at the National level: general test, language, and domain-specific subjects.
