CUET-UG exam dates are likely to be changed depending on Lok Sabha elections schedule
The dates announced by NTA are tentative after the announcement of the election date NTA will decide the date of CUET-UG.
The schedule for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET)-UG is likely to be changed depending on the Lok Sabha election scheduled. UGC chairman Jagadesh Kumar Jagdish Kumar shared the information. According to Jagdeesh Kumar, the CUET UG schedule can be changed as per the schedule of the Lok Sabha elections.
National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the dates of the CUET-UG 2024 exam last Tuesday. CUET-UG 2024 will be conducted from the 15th to the 31st and the result will be declared on the 30th of June. On the other hand, the Election Commission prepares for the Lok Sabha elections. The schedule of the Lok Sabha elections is likely to be announced this month.
Party leader Jagdish Kumar said, "The dates announced by NTA are tentative. After the announcement of the election date, NTA will decide the date of CUET-UG. It is proposed to conduct the exam from the 15th onwards."
The application process for CUET-UG ends on 26th March. Meanwhile, NTA has announced that the examination will be conducted in hybrid mode - a computer-based test for some subjects and a pen-and-paper test for others.
