National Conference ‘Utkarsh VIII’ to be Held at D. Y. Patil School of Management

Dr. D. Y. Patil School of Management, Lohegaon, Pune, in collaboration with Savitribai Phule Pune University, will organize a two-day National Conference titled Utkarsh VIII – Cutting Edge Research and Innovation’ on March 11 and 12, 2026.

The conference aims to bring together distinguished academicians, researchers, industry experts, research scholars and students from across the country to deliberate on emerging trends, challenges and innovations in the fields of management and technology.

Dr. Ajeenkya D. Y. Patil, President of the Ajeenkya D. Y. Patil Group, Pune, will serve as the Chief Patron of the conference. The event is being organized under the leadership and guidance of Prof. (Dr.) E. B. Khedkar, Vice President of the Ajeenkya D. Y. Patil Group and Director of the D. Y. Patil School of Management.

The conference is convened by Dr. Ganesh Lande, with support from Co-Conveners Dr. Ashutosh Khedkar, Dr. Suumit Bannkar, and Dr. Chetan Sarwade. Dr. Chetan Khedkar, Head of the Research Center at the institute, is actively contributing to the successful organization of the conference. He stated that the conference will provide a valuable platform for researchers and academicians from across the country to present and showcase their innovative research work.

The conference will host several distinguished academicians and experts from across India, including Prof. (Dr.) Parag Kalkar, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune; Prof. (Dr.) Walmik Sarwade, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar; Prof. (Dr.) Ripu Ranjan Sinha, Chairman and Chancellor of Langbustech University Inc, New Jersey, USA; Prof. (Dr.) Satish Sharma, Pro-Vice Chancellor of BBD University, Lucknow; Prof. (Dr.) Shyam Shukla from Bangalore University; Prof. (Dr.) Rajwinder Singh, Head of the School of Management Studies at Punjabi University, Patiala; Prof. (Dr.) Dalbir Kaushik of Maharshi Dayanand University, Haryana; and Dr. D. Chennappa and Dr. Modia Rameshwar Rao from Osmania University, Hyderabad.

The conference will cover a wide range of themes related to innovation and research in management, including Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Information Technology, Operations and Supply Chain, Hospitality and Tourism, Strategic Management, and Entrepreneurship.

Participants will have the opportunity to present their research findings and engage in meaningful discussions aimed at advancing knowledge and fostering innovation in the field.
