The Lexicon Management Institute of Leadership & Excellence (Lexicon MILE) commenced its 21-day induction programme, 'Transcend – Rise Above Limits', for the PGDM and MBA Global Batch 2026-28 on Monday. The programme is designed to prepare students for the academic rigours of management education and the challenges of the corporate world through leadership development, industry interactions and experiential learning.
The induction ceremony was graced by the Hon'ble Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Kavinder Gupta, as the Chief Guest. Addressing the newly admitted students, the Governor encouraged them to embrace leadership, innovation and social responsibility, urging them to utilise the induction programme as an opportunity to discover their potential and prepare themselves for contributing to the nation's growth.
Speaking on the occasion, Pankaj Sharma, President of The Lexicon Group of Institutes and Chairman & Managing Director of Pune Times Mirror, Civic Mirror and Multifit, said that the induction programme reflects the institution's philosophy of helping students overcome limitations and transform into future-ready leaders. He noted that the 21-day programme has been designed to build confidence, resilience and leadership qualities before the formal academic curriculum begins.
Neeraj Sharma, Vice Chairman of The Lexicon Group and Director of Pune Times Mirror, Civic Mirror and Multifit, highlighted the institute's focus on industry exposure from the very first day, enabling students to interact with business leaders and professionals well before classroom learning begins.
Shreya Sharma, Trustee of The Lexicon Group and CEO & Founder of Rest The Case, said the induction programme goes beyond orientation by encouraging students to reflect on their aspirations, values and long-term goals, thereby laying a strong foundation for their personal and professional development.
The ceremony was also attended by Sanjeev Yadav, CEO of Lexicon MILE, who welcomed the new batch and motivated students as they embarked on their management education journey.
The event featured keynote sessions by Gaurav Desai, Director – Program & Project Management at LTM, and Aparna Ahir, Human Resources Business Partner at Emerson. Both speakers shared insights on leadership, industry expectations, workplace readiness and career development.
A major highlight of the event was the Future Cities Forum 2026, organised in association with Pune Times Mirror. Conceived as a national thought-leadership platform, the forum aims to bring together policymakers, industry leaders and experts to discuss the role of Indian cities in driving economic growth and sustainable development.

The induction programme will continue over the next 21 days with a series of leadership sessions, industry interactions, skill-building workshops and experiential learning activities aimed at preparing students for successful careers in management.
