Pune University introduces online application for availing certificates  

Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) is streamlining its processes by adopting a paperless approach, facilitating easier access to academic documents for students across various academic departments and affiliated colleges. In this new initiative, students can now receive their academic documents at their doorstep by submitting an online application form.

Previously, academic documents were issued to students through the Vidyarthi Suvidha Kendra (Student Facilitation Center) at SPPU. However, the traditional method of applying online and submitting printed copies along with required documents proved time-consuming for students. Responding to demands from student organizations and members of the Adhi Sabha, the university is now transitioning to a fully online and paperless system, led by the examination reform committee.

In a recent meeting, the examination board of the universities decided to make it a paperless process. Now if the students want any certificate from the university, the students have to process it online only and the relevant certificate will be sent to the given address by post.

In the first phase, the complete process of the Transcript Certificate will be done online. Students will receive the certificate within 7 to 15 days after applying online. After that, the complete process of almost all certificates like degree-diploma mark sheets, special certificates, and duplicate passing certificates will be done online.
