Delhi Class 10-12 admission 2024-25 will start from April 18

The Directorate of School Education, Government of Delhi has issued a notice for the annual school calendar for the academic year 2024-25 for all the government and government-aided schools in the national capital. The next academic session will begin on April 1, 2025.

The Delhi school annual calendar 2024-25 was prepared after a discussion on the modalities of the admission process for 2024-25 on February 1. The calendar was prepared in the presence of all the deputy directors of education and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD).

All the schools are instructed to ensure that 220 working days are completed before announcing holidays and academic sessions. Declaration of the list of selected children and the waiting list for admission will take place on March 23, after drawing of lots is conducted on March 21. On the same day, DoE will commence the admission process for Nursery, KG and Class 1. Admission of children placed on the waiting list, if the seat is left vacant, will be processed from April 2 to April 6.

For students from 6-9, their online admission will begin in three phases, the first phase will start from April 1 to April 8 up to 5 pm, the second phase will start from May 1 to May 20 up to 5 pm, and the third phase from July 1 to July 20 up to 5 pm. Submission of the application form will be done for class 6th to class 9^th in allotted schools in three phases. The first phase will start from April 23 to April 30, the second will run from June 11 to June 25, and the third phase from August 2 to August 9.
