UPSC CSE Prelims 2024 registration window extended till March 6; Check details her

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has extended the registration date for UPSC CSE Prelims 2024 till today, March 6, 2024. From March 5, 2024. UPSC CSE 2024 notification was released on February 14, 2024. The UPSC Prelims Exam 2024 will be held on May 26, 2024. A total of 1056 vacancies are to be filled.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in.

As per the notification released by the UPSC, the Civil Services 2024 examination is expected to fill about 1,056 vacancies this year. 40 of these positions are reserved for people with disabilities (PwBD). 6 positions are reserved for candidates with blindness and low vision, 12 for those with deafness, 9 for locomotor disabilities such as cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims, and muscular dystrophy, and 13 for people with multiple disabilities.   

How to apply:

Candidates must ensure to fill out the form by today by following the simple steps:

• Go to the official website of UPSC – upsc.gov.in
• Click on the Exam Notifications tab and then click on Apply Online link.
• Candidates must click on the link available for Civil Services Part-I registration.
• Fill in all basic information in the part-I application form such as Name Date of birth, Category, Gender, Email ID, Contact number, Permanent address, Marital status, Parents’ names, Community, Educational qualification etc.
• Click on Continue. Check all details in the online form carefully and click on Submit.
• Pay the UPSC application fee online, upload scanned images, enter information related to fee payment details and click on ‘I Agree’ button.
• On clicking the button, a page with a registration number will be generated. Note down the registration number. Take a printout of the page.

The application fee for Prelims examination is INR 100 and for Female/ SC/ ST/ PwBD category students there are no fees. The UPSC admit card 2024 will be released online on May 1, 2024.
