After showing their supremacy in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination by bagging first four slots, girls have outshone the boys in the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary education 12th class results. (HSC Rersult Updates)

Students can check their results online at 2 pm. The passing percentage of girls stands at 93.73% as against the boys at 89.14%. The total pass percentage of the board for its nine divisions is 91.25%. The state board chairman Sharad Gosavi declared the results here on Thursday.

Among the nine divisions Konkan has got the highest passing percentage of 96.01% while Mumbai has got the lowest with 88.13%. Pune division ranked second with 93.34%. The examination for the academic year 2022-23 was held in February-March 2023.

Over 14 lakh students had appeared for the examination.
