NEET UG 2023 : Know about the Exam in one click
The NTA has reported that over 21 lakh candidates have registered for NEET 2023, a significant increase from last year’s figures.

One of India’s most challenging medical entrance exams, NEET, is going to be conducted on 7th of May . It is mandatory for students who want to secure a seat in the country’s MBBS and BDS courses offered by medical colleges. This year over 21 lakh students registered for the exam.
While speaking to ‘EduVarta’ Director & Academic Head of IITian's Prashikshan Kendra Mr. Durgesh Mangeshkr said " The NTA has reported that over 21 lakh candidates have registered for NEET 2023, a significant increase from last year’s figures.

In 2022, around 18 lakh 72 thousand students applied for this examination, which means there has been a growth of almost 12% in the number of aspirants this year. This means that there is high competition for admission to medical colleges this year, and students will need to work hard to secure a good rank in the exam. However, it also highlights the need for more medical colleges and seats to accommodate the growing number of aspiring medical students in the country, says Mangeshkar.
The exam will be held in a single shift between 2 PM and 5.20 PM in 13 languages, that is English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. NEET UG 2023 exam will be conducted offline (pen and paper-based). The paper will contain 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology. The exam will be based on the NCERT curriculum of Class 11 and 12.
