CET announced application schedule for BMS, BBA, BBM, and BCA; check details  

Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has issued a notice for admission to professional courses in BCA/BBA/BBM for the academic year 2024-25. CET will be conducting these exams for the first time. 

As per the new mandate, an entrance test will be held for admissions to Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) courses in Maharashtra in the upcoming year. Admission to professional courses in BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM through the state   Common Entrance Test (CET) for the academic year 2024-25 will be held at the various examination centres within and outside Maharashtra State.

This CET will be conducted for the first time. The online registration and confirmation of application will begin from March 21 to April 11, 2024. Interested candidates can register by visiting the official website www.mahacet.org.

The syllabus and information brochure for this examination have been made available on the official website of the State Common Entrance Test Cell (www.mahacet.org).

The directive came close on the heels of the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) decision to bring these courses within its ambit. With govt declaring these courses as professional and bringing them under the state CET cell, these will now come under the Fee Regulating Authority (FRA).
